Mr. Guenther is the Managing Shareholder of State Tax Solutions and has enjoyed spending the past twenty-three years exclusively in the field of state and local taxation. Prior to co-founding State Tax Solutions in 1999, he was a state and local tax manager with KPMG.

Professional Experience 

Scott has extensive consulting experience in the area of payroll and unemployment taxes as well as income/franchise, sales & use, unclaimed property, and other state and local taxes. He has significant experience relating to the federal, state and local payroll & unemployment tax consequences and opportunities arising from business restructurings, mergers, and acquisitions. In addition, Scott has been involved in providing value added state and local tax services to a broad range of large publicly traded and privately held employers, private equity firms, as well as the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry.
