Personal Interests

I have worked in the field of payroll tax consulting for the past seventeen years. I am most interested in keeping current with national, state and local economic and legislative developments that affect the ability of employers to run profitable businesses especially in terms of payroll tax expense. I also appreciate the time and effort involved with employers having to choose the most cost-effective administrative solutions for managing their payroll tax; be it a third-party payroll tax processor, professional employer organization (PEO) or integrated software solution. In the midst of all these automated services, there is oftentimes an area of payroll tax service that is not supported. It may be forecasting the state unemployment tax effects of a business transfer after an acquisition. It may be resolving an IRS payroll tax notice or preparing an amendment to recover overpaid employer taxes. It may be something as simple as registering a business for a payroll tax account. These are the areas where I believe we help employers save time, plan effectively and recover costs. Helping employers handle those areas of payroll tax that can be confusing and time consuming is what I enjoy most about being involved in this field of tax.

My personal interests include a fascination with pop culture, foodie destinations, cooking, traveling, trail running and theater. I mostly enjoy supporting my two teenagers in high school with their activities.
